  • 2 tbsps brown sugar 
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract 
  • 2 large eggs, separated 
  • 5 tbsps melted butter 
  • 4 tbsps maple syrup 
  • 1 ¼ cup milk 
Instructions:
  1. Preheat your waffle iron towards the regular setting. 
  2. Inside a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, spices and salt. Put aside for later. 
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks using the mashed sweet potato, milk, vanilla extract and maple syrup until have the ear of a smooth consistency. 
  4. Pour the dry ingredients you put aside earlier straight into the mixture and stir gently. Once the mix begins to combine add the melted butter after which continue stirring until fully combined.
